Marella is really kind and helpful. She cared for Sunrose and Moonlilac when they were merely hatchlings and watched them grow into fine young dragons.

She is one of the few survivors, along with Sogora and Realta. Marella quickly became close friends to both males, both of whom also helped raise Sunrose and Moonlilac, though not as instrumental in their growth. Sogora and Realta both harboured romantic feelings towards the gentle wildclaw, who did not reciprocate them and only regarded them as friends.

Sogora eventually left the island and was never heard from again. After some time, Realta went back to the mainland as well to find a home in a new clan.
Marella takes care of young hatchling in the nursery, and is often aided by Truffle. She is also the clan healer and advises Sunrose and Moonlilac on decision due to her wisdom and motherly nature in wanting to relieve the stress of ruling from the shoulders of her adopted kids.
