the moment he was hatched. His mother, A humble glassblower named Mairi, decided with her mate that the three dragons needed to leave for fears that there was something wrong with them. The children's names were Igni, Titus, and Volteer. from the Icewarden's domain to where most lost spirits resided, The Tangled Wood, and left the hatchlings there to their fate. Titus succumbed to the elements and the preditors, Leaving the paler Imperial sobbing over his two brothers' corpses after a particularly brutal band of tengus had flown through and ended their lives. hungry and cold, had climbed into a treehollow to escape that, unbeknownst to him, housed a Veilspun woman. Volteer's body heat awoke the solitary small dragon and she begun to soothe the larger child. Seeing he was hungry she slunk out of the tree to discover a pale imperial slowly standing where the ground was coated in scarlet.
"Igni? Titus?" Volteer cried out, hopefull his brothers were still alive.
"Yes?" they said in unison, turning around both heads swiveling to greet their sibling.
'oh no' Thought Saoirse, 'the poor child turned into an emperor. I must get him away from here'. And so they left, after a long explanation and quite the travels. The unconventional family found themselves at Cairnestone Rest, where once could expect an Emperor to appear.
