While maybe not the smartest or strongest dragon on land or by sea, Petrichor still knows his way around a sail. Priding himself more on his street smarts vs. book smarts, he tries to give any patrons the fairest deal.

Petrichor values his good sense most above anything. He trusts his gut and his mind, and that combination has yet to steer him wrong. A sailor has got to have a feel for the motion of the ocean, and a trader that can't trust his own mind is going to get scammed.

He also has a healthy trust for his crew members. If a sailor can't trust his crew, why are they even on the boat? No, he did a lot of work in selecting his crew members, so there's no room for doubt in any capacity.

There is, however, the problem of having customers that charter the ship to travel on. It's not good for business to turn dragons away, however he's always sizing up to keep trouble off of his boat.

But ultimately, Petrichor trusts his crew. If something were to ever go wrong, he know Salt, Peanut, and Fefesan would be right there to back him up. And that's worth more than gold to him.

The Salty Crew

____Life on deck isn't always for everyone, but there's the four dragons that call the ship their home. Whether it's life on the waves, or stopped in a port, or spending time at home to catch up or raise hatchlings, the crew find themselves most at home with eachother. Travelers at heart, the Salty Crew can feel it in their bones and in the tides when it's time to set sail.

____On board, the crew's quarters are actually quite small. Most the ship's space is reserved fro cargo, and the ship isn't the largest by a long shot. Easily run by only four dragons, but still able to hold a few more, for a price of course. The ship allows for other travelers, although the close-knit group of sailors tend to like to keep it to themselves. Long nights by the light of the oil lantern, with only stories of the high seas to pass the time by.

Fearless captain aboard the ship. Well, he's afraid of a few things. It would be nonsensical to be completely fearless. In fact, it's good to have a healthy amount of fear. But he has a normal, life-saving amount of fear. That's just stupid, to be fearless.

The brawn aboard the ship. He doesn't say much. But the crew understands he likes his quiet, and often times solitude. He carries his weight and is diligent and reliable. No voice needed.

Chief mapmaker of the crew. She knows where they're going, and how to get there. She's also good at keeping the wind in the sails, physically and metaphorically. It's not like anyone else on board is a good cook.

Chief networker of the ship. From her past as a delivery dragon, she knows quite a few places willing to let a salty crew of travelers set up shop and sell merchandise around the globe. Most outgoing of the crewmates.
