Bronx was a former assistant to Andromena while they worked at The Tourmaline Archives. Meek and Quiet, Bronx never liked stirring up trouble. When Andromena suggested they go exploring the Starwood Strand, he ignored a gnawing feeling of uncertainty and went along with her. Once they had gotten lost, and began wandering in circles around the Wandering Contagion, his sense of unease continued to grow but a sense of curiosity bloomed along with it.

Once they were saved and brought to The Horde who were stationed in a massive expanse of tunnels carved into the Rotrock Rim, his curiosity continued to grow as he met many new dragons. Each had a different infliction that distorted their bodies but each of they had a fighting spirit that Bronx began to admire and wish for himself. When the offer was put out to stay with the Horde, Bronx quickly accepted.

Once he was approached for a spot on the newly created Carrion Carver squad, Bronx quickly accepted. He grew from reluctant to excited as he went out on scavenging missions more and more. He slowly grew stronger until he became a formidable fighter and scavenger. He eventually earned the name The Masked Death in recognition of his deathly silent approach to incapacitate any enemies they faced.

Riding on his Carrioncorn steed Pestilence, he still ventures out to scavenge every day, searching for new fascinating things that the plague territory has in store.
