Will also look at you like you did something wrong by just standing remotely near her or her brother.

______ An archer against her parents' will, Novalin is the first true archer of The FOrgotten Kingdom's Guard. Despite her selective mutism and nice demeanor, she will not hesitate to turn you into a pin cushion with a couple hundred arrows, especially if you have upset her in any way. Her parents had originally hoped she would become a scout or messenger of some sort, but when Novalin started to collect the skulls and bones of various animals from outside, they knew something wouldn't go their way. They had tried desperately to keep their daughter's morbid habit at bay, even making Night a watchdog for her, despite him being absolutely terrified of eveything. But that quickly went down the drain when she soon started hunting down animals to kill herself, bringing them back to look at. Novalin's parents soon came to the conclusion their daughter may be mentally unstable, along side being selectively mute. She tends to go out during the night to both find odd looking creatures to shoot down with an unnecessarily large amount of arrows, or practice her aim on a tree. Obsidian had decided to name her the leader of the kingdom's guard, much to her parents' disliking. Novalin usually enchants her arrows to explode with the force of a thousand dynamite in a small radius if it were to miss and hit the ground, usually decimating anything near the impact of the arrow. That or catch it on fire. Her brother, Night, calls her "The Arrow of Supernovas" for the explosive properties of her arrows and her name containing the word nova. She soon adopted this as her nickname, and everyone in the kingdom's guard calls her it when they see her. A few of her favorite things to collect are odd looking creatures and skulls, bones, scales, feathers, and all sorts of other things from her enemies as a sign of her victory. She sometimes even fashions some of her "trophies" into pieces of apparal to wear. A collector of odd creatures and parts from her enemies, an expert archer, and selectively mute, Novalin is not only mentally unstable and able to shoot down a small bird from a mile away, but she is also extremely silent, so you never know if she is right beside you until it is already too late, which is usually indicated by a maniacal laugh of amusement.

______ Although, despite her inasanity and violence, she has a soft spot for hatchlings, especially the abandoned kind. She usually calms down significantly when near a young dragon, and will try to get it to safety. She has even been known to temporarily "adopt" lost hatchlings until their parents are found. She also tends to display a sort of "herding behavior", which consists of her dancing around a hatchling trying to get them to go the right way. She does this when they are too scared to listen to her. This may be because of the fact that she is a mother herself, and can only imagine the fear f losing one of her own children. She has even adopted a couple of abandoned hatchlings, and gave them a better place within the walls of the palace, caring for them as if they were her own.
