GOLDENROD


Goldenrod's knowledge of fairy-tales exists purely through her personal reinterpretation of them as a hatchling - her, sitting atop some larger-than-life beast in gleaming armor, charging into the fray at the beheast of a beautiful princess whom she had a shot of being betrothed to should she play her heroism right...

Well, that's all well and good, but as all of Sornieth knows, Banescales are destroyers, not morally-compassed hand-kissers. They are built for savagery, not the delicate work of earning an esteemed lover's praise. Pure steel would lesion her skin should it touch, not meant for something like her. They scarcely train beasts large enough for something of her size.

Surely, in long-forgotten banescale texts, there were others with her dreams?
