Biography

Starmy

Vial of River Muck Waterskin

b i o g r a p h y

Nickname | Star

Title | Scholar

Personality
Seraphic, studious, intelligent, reliable, prudent, orderly, methodical

Starmy is well-educated, spending much of his time in the library of The Chapel, poring over ancient religious texts. He is fairly friendly but distant, preferring the quiet contemplation of the shrines to the hustle and bustle of the marketplace or refectory. He is admired for his elegance and good looks but is married to his faith, not willing to entertain the advances of other dragons. He is closely connected to the High Priest and Priestess as they can rely on him to do any research they require. It is his greatest pleasure to gather information, write reports, and quietly pray.

History
Starmy grew up in a temple on the outskirts of the Tangled Wood after being abandoned by his birth parents. As travelling entertainers they knew that they were incapable of caring for their son and thus his young life was dedicated to learning about the obscure religion of the monks that took him in. They taught him to read when he was only a hatchling and soon he was consuming all the texts he could get his claws on. The monks considered him to be very gifted and were impressed with his ability to process information, even the dense religious writings they assigned him to keep him busy on quiet days. When he reached adulthood they expected him to join them in the temple for the remainder of his life, but Starmy had realized years before that this could not be his home forever. It was during a sabbatical into the Tangled Wood that he encountered the Spectre Clan, and after weeks spent in study alongside the High Priest, Amaymon, he realized that this place was where he belonged.
