Biography
Keren grew up hearing stories about the Bog, they always fascinated him, a mystical place outside the plane of existence Sornieth resided in. If dragons disappeared in the night it was said that they had wandered onto the Path. Tales of twisted dragons and nameless monstrosities. It’s believed that anyone the Bog took was never seen again. But someone had to have come back, right? Otherwise there wouldn’t be stories to tell.
Keren’s obsession with the Bog never waned as he got older, he set off from his home clan almost as soon as he could manage flight, and has travelled the 11 realms searching for answers ever since. He gathered all the information he could on this mysterious place, and his journey eventually led him to Chaya; a Longneck mystic from the Starfall Isles.
Chaya had heard stories of a dragon who had entered and survived the Bog, now long past into dust, and was confident that they could help the adventurous (if not misguided) Tundra achieve his dreams of studying the elusive swamp. The two of them formed a fast friendship, and after years of searching and hundreds of failed attempts at conjuring a portal...
They finally did it.
Into the portal and out onto the Path they stepped. The first people in the world not only to get there by choice, but also to not be separated as well. They knew the stories well enough by now to know that the belief was; follow the Path, stay ON the Path, and eventually it will lead you home... At least, that was the theory, there were also stories about a blood-thirsty monster that hunted for lost souls on the Path, which may explain the lack of survivors.
The pair had no intention of finding out the latter, however, and after taking some notes about the Path and it’s bizarre nature, stepped off into the Bog.
