Flupp is a very friendly coatl, almost too friendly to most. He has an interest in alchemy and magic, considering himself to be a scientist. He takes pride in being a skilled alchemist.

He finds it very hard to understand Pisces. Cotton Candy often translates anything he says to him. This causes him to accidentally break a few rules here and there, causing a load of squeaking and frill-waving from Pisces. He doesn't mean to break the rules, however. Some things occasionally get lost in translation.

When his first nest had hatched, he was happy. However, his partner Noemi was quickly growing ill. She was too afraid to spread her illness to her new hatchlings. Noemi tried to be there for her hatchlings, but Flupp watched as her illness grew worse. Her plumage was nearly completely grey as opposed to her usual bright coloring. One day, she fled, asking Flupp to take care of young Willis.
He would tell the young coatl stories about Noemi and told him about how she would sing in coatl tongue to the hatchlings when they were still in their eggs. To this day, Flupp has no idea if she's still out there, if she made it to somewhere safe. He just wants to tell her how much her hatchlings have grown. Willis will never understand.
