Background:
Selon was the one to answer Clan Zephyrim's request for a teacher. All he asked was that he could bring his wife Sorya along as well. The clanleaders agreed and Selon was officially accepted in the position of teacher.
He hatched from an Ice egg, his parents unknown. From the moment he came out of the egg, Selon showed great interest in all things he came across. In his teenage years he devoured every book he came across, constantly looking for more things to learn.
Later he had a short fling with a young girl from a Plague flight, but they eventually drifted apart. When he was quite a bit older, Selon met Sorya and immediately fell in love with her, despite the age difference.

Task within the clan:
While the clan already boasts a number of experts on various matters, such as magic, the art of war and various trades, the Zephyrim did not have someone to teach the more mundane subjects. Reading, writing, history, etc...Selon teaches anyone willing to learn. After learning the basics from him, anyone interested in specializing in a certain trade or art can then turn to the specialists with a strong base to build on.

Associates:
Selon is a regular face in the library, studying and preparing his lessons for the next week. He asks Lledrith and Diwedydd for advice and to go over his lessons. He firmly believes in peer review and the other two dragons couldn’t agree more. But Selon also believes in making learning fun and likes to also ask anatolius for advice on livening up his stories.

Personality:
Selon is down-to-earth and rational. When in teacher-mode, Selon is no-nonsense and focused on his task. Mess around in his class and one can expect a smack on the head.
But Selon is definitely not some dusty, old teacher. He loves to teach and enjoys having deep conversations with fellow intellectuals.
And while he is convinced that knowledge is an important way to expand ones world, he would never look down upon those whose interests lie in the more simple things in life.

Family and Friends:
Even though Sorya is quite a few years younger than Selon, it has never been an obstacle. Selon loves his mate's outgoing and free-spirited nature. And when Sorya gets her head a bit too far in the clouds, Selon will gently bring her back to the real world.
Due to her somewhat wild nature, Selon is quite protective of his mate and will do everything he can to keep her out of trouble.
