Coast grew up in a rather privileged life as the son of a wealthy and prominent businessman. His father, Suriya, had a thriving business trading, importing and exporting goods from all across Sornieth to supply his own employed merchants in various clans. He lived in a large mansion in Goldensparc with his parents and siblings, and an entire staff taking care of their every need. Because of that, he didn't really interact much with his parents and had a pretty skewed view of the real world after he moved out. Eventually, once his father deemed him an adult, he was sent off to get to work. Coast moved to the windswept plateau for a time before deciding he missed the water too much and he ended up in Bridgecourt, setting up a shop for his father in the budding new clan. While his father never had too high of expectations for his middle son, Coast's business ended up thriving. His father showed up unannounced one day, impressed with how the business was being run and offered him a job back at the head quarters, but Coast, in a striking moment of defiance, said no. Since then, Coast has separated himself from his father and the family business. Still a merchant, he stocks what he likes, and what he knows his customers are going to need or want. There's a bit of everything, from antiques to fishing supplies and, if you take a moment to talk with him, there's a high likelihood of what you need being in stock the next time you're in the store. He is a personable and bubbly, though professional, wildclaw. Happy to talk your ear off, and equally happy to just listen to his customers spreading the town gossip. |
