Biography

Uh-oh, looks like this bean wandered a little too far from his home lair ((DrShadowCipher, #488297)), and now he’s off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him to his home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but he would be very grateful!

Lore notes:

Diary
September 2, 2020 - Ruyime
A few days ago I had stumbled into the Arcane territory. I was still a hatchling at that time. But I’ve grown over the past few days. I’ve met wonderful dragons here! I’ve gotten lost while I was here and a dragon named, Lavender found me. She was older than me by a few weeks but we quickly became really good friends. I stayed at her house these past few days. She taught me a few things about survival. Today is finally the day that I feel ready to travel to the next clan! I was sad to say goodbye to Lavender, I promised her that I will someday come back to see her.

2 September 2020 Addendum - unknown
Got lost in the green labyrinth of Nature, but just when things seemed bleakest I saw a light bobbing in the distance. It was carried by a green Gaoler named wiggles who brought me safely back to her clan to rest and recover. I'm exhausted, but safe.

This clan is very welcoming! What a happy group, and babies at all times! When I arrived with wiggles, I was fed a lovely berry salad, followed by grubs (my favorite!) wrapped in banana leaves and drizzled with honey, served over iced banana slices. I made sure to get the recipe before I went to bed that night, of course! The next day, a nice Tundra named Chaos showed me around. This grey poodle followed us everywhere and I thought it was his pet, but turns out her name is Havoc and she's kind of a big deal around here! She wrangles the babies and goes into market and searches for new homes for the babies and finds places where the adult traveling dragons will be happy and goes to the marketplace for the food. She's busy at all times! Havoc didn't stay with us long, since she had to get a baby to her new home, but she was very nice. Later that day, we watched a nest hatch out and admired the hatchlings, so cute! The parents were travelers so they left later that day, but they were nice. Everyone is so nice! Maybe nice is something I can get tired of, though? It seems like everyone here is happy and fun-loving and just so nice! I think I'll stay maybe another day then I'll move on and see what else I can find in the world.

When I first arrived, it was slightly chilly. I found that I was not greeted by anyone when I arrived, and happened to be rather put off. It seemed as though I had landed in an outpost of some sort, with large stashes of food and treasure but no such bustling life. However, as soon as I bumped into someone, they apologized profusely and asked if I was new. I ended up having a small meal and playing by the beach with some of the hatchlings and a Pearlcatcher named Leif, who absentmindedly watched the children as he snuggled with his familiar. All in all, it has been nice. There isn't much to do in terms of constant activity, but the forests are wide and beautiful and the cliffs have a sheen to them unlike anywhere else. The dragons are friendly and colorful, and I find myself wondering how such a wide array of them could have ended up in a clan together. As I was leaving, I saw a strange creature haulinig in some berries near the edges of the outpost. I asked their name, and they said they did not know. There were strange runes running up their arm... Well, no matter. My time here has been wonderful, lovely, in fact, and my heart races for what's in store next!

Hmm. It's difficult to put my time in Clan Mavenlark into exact words. Definitely an interesting experience...these city dragons have such different morals than the moral rural outposts I've found myself in. This hulking snapper, some city socialite, offered me a considerable sum to lay a nest with her. Enough treasure to fund my travels for ages to come, in fact. Of course I accepted, and was not even expected to stay in order to rear the children. She seemed pleased by my output - apparently three eggs means quite a lot to her, for whatever reason. I don't even think I caught her name. Ah, well. Probably better that way.

30 November 2020 - DrShadowCipher

I found a Shadow Village, the leaders welcomed me with open arms. They looked as if they recognized me but I do not recall ever being here. But there is one dragon that looked familiar to me... I believe she was my old Caretaker? I don’t remember. It was fun staying for a bit but I decided to move on.

30 November 2020 - Tynethyne

It seems as if every single clan I've visited is in baby season! Hatchlings, hatchlings everywhere you look! From tiny spirals tripping over their own tails to sizable imperial hatchlings pulling on each other's whiskers. Absolute bundles of chaotic energy; almost as soon as I stepped into the clan proper, a whole herd of the little ones promptly bowled me over and buried me underneath a pile of frolicking bodies. A pink fluffy gaoler rescued me, gathering them by the the armful and tucking them into his fur. Smiling, he introduced himself as Curly and apologized. Recently the clan experienced an unprecedented amount of hatchlings which hard pressed even Curly. I told him not to worry and that it was not the first time it happened (though I declined to say that it was the most extreme of all my hatchling experiences. The youngsters were very curious and pelted me the whole day with questions. At one point a few of them started sniffing and eyeing me up as I was a delicious piece of fruit and if I do so say myself they looked as if they were about to sink their fangs into me. Curly distracted them almost immediately, giving them a pear which they . . . um . . . slurped. Sensing my confusion, he explained that their father Erebus is a vampire and they are still learning, thinking of it as "gumming". As far as vampires go they are quite adorable. All in all, it was a fun and interesting experience with friends made along the way.
