Biography
Woemonger
Cursed Warlord
"Would you be willing to sacrifice anything for victory?"
A conqueror of cities and builder of empires, the Woe Monger was- for a brief breath of history- dreaded across Sornieth. Both a great unifier and destroyer, there was prowess for those who surrendered... and ruin for those who resisted.
The Woe Monger disappeared while attempting to conquer an eastern part of the Singer's Brook, bordering the Sea of a Thousand Currents. Their lack of a successor lead to their empire being dismembered by their generals, before crumbling altogether.
Time went on and the Woe Monger became nothing more than a legend. Something to scare sleepless hatchlings into their nests. Something to explain the missing livestock or travelers, though it depended on the dragon or Beastclan to decide if they believed it or not.
At the same time, a Pearlcatcher from the Brook- unusual, given their insular culture- began wandering around the Sea, eventually finding a place to rest in the Leviathan's Ribs.
