While she is a part of the traveling traders, she does not sell anything. Instead, Windfury acts as protection for the traders. She is incredibly skilled at hiding in plain sight despite being such a large dragon. She does this by acting like a statue. Her coloration and genes are really what allow her to do this on top of her breath control and incredible patience. It is such as successful tactic she taught her first daughter, Pasque, how to do this as well.

When the group is protected in the boundaries of a city or town, Windfury will often act as a mercenary, doing small jobs for dragons in the town or city until the traders are ready to move on.

Windfury is also known to bring her daughter on trips with her when the group is visiting their allied light clan so Pasque can see her father. Cherry always makes sure Windfury knows. Strangely the two have bonded over this since Cherry's mate is also in the same light clan.
