Biography
From the Sepulcher: Pinkerlocke Dragon
Day 7
Day 15
The stone that covered the entrance- what was found to be the entrance which had been covered in stones, had since been cleared. The smell of air- fresh, clean, pure- was almost too much after their lifetimes spent, short though they had been, in the dark and musty grave.
Vyntolo had found others, while she explored the further depths. Found a cave, where the stone was not hewn, and where one could cut their feet on the edges of broken rocks. It did not affect her- snappers, after all, are designed for the great deserts and mines of the Earthshaker. The others she had found were strange.
It was the others- the dark ones, who spoke in strange hisses and the buzzing of insect wings, that had shown her that there was a way out.
But even knowing that there was a world of light above, Vyntolo didn’t see the need to go there- not yet. Some force of instinct, perhaps also born of her breed, demanded her delve deeper. She thanked the strange buzzing dragons; the ones who looked like, and not like, the two who had fallen ill before, who had stopped breathing. Stopped glowing with magic. Seeing them was unnerving, for how little in common they had.
Tenph, who had before been found by those strange dragons, offered to join Vyntolo, whichever way she went. Said of themself that they liked the [PAWN] and [BISHOP] well enough, but they enjoyed just as much the exploration- that it was that wanderlust which had brought them out of the nest and into the wilds so quickly.
“Then we may travel together,” Vyntolo agreed.
