Copper Gear The charged egg of hers was found and hatched in The Shifting Expanse during the annual Thundercrack Carnivale. Her hatch date and the festival coinciding, dragons thought of her as some kind of prodigy, having high expectations. She isn't an extraordinarily quiet dragon, but she definitely hates noise. That's what she considered the unjustified fame and the many unfounded expectations from others. Zhazarda isn't even especially good at lightning magic and not interested either, but people's delusion nice wishes die hard.

To quieten them down a bit at least, she started to learn engineering and finally found herself interested in something. Not into the big things people assumed she was called for; it was the smaller, quieter things she wanted to keep running. She had fun fixing tiny devices by herself in a quiet cubbyhole; there she was in her own world. The smallest thing to work on and fix she could find were the hearts of clocks, so she studied that. As soon as she had finished her training she left behind all the unwanted noise to create her own little space.
