B I O G R A P H Y
Nightingale is part of an ancient society of Moon Elves, their species is slowly returning from years of hiding and building. Although, Nightingale is not full Elf, for she was born across the border of the Arcanist's kingdom instead of her home domain. After she was born, she was quickly brought back to her home in the kingdom of night, and her race treats her and respects her as a Full-Blood. As Nightingale still belongs to The Moon, she has most of the habits of her ancestors. She is mostly nocturnal, but can also be up in the day if it were necessary. Not only is she largely nocturnal, but Nightingale has incredible night vision. She can see in-depth details and colors in the dim light of night. This is partially because the irises of her eyes have evolved to be bioluminescent, lightly glowing in the dark, a trait all Moon Elves posses. Nightingale's daytime vision is decent, but her eyes work naturally in the dark. Her name, Nightingale, is not completely her true name. In ancient Elven, her name translates to Tinúviel, the meaning is far deeper than that of a simple bird. In her culture, her name does mean Nightingale, but Tinúviel stems from the word "Tindómerel", meaning Nightingale, Daughter of Twilight. In this, she is a child of The Moon. Even though Nightingale is half by where she was born, she still belongs to The Moon. Being a daughter of The Moon wasn't the only reason she was given such a name. Being born in the country of the stars, Nightingale was deemed a name that represents the time of day that both the stars and the moon become visible in the last light of day. In this, her name acknowledges that she was not only born to The Moon, but to the beauty of the stars as well. In Nightingale's culture, it is a disgrace to have one's true name known and butchered by outsiders. In this, she would rather go by a simplified version of her namesake in the common tongue.

B I O G R A P H Y
Nightingale takes her training and lifestyle very seriously. She is bound by honor and refuses to share any of the secrets she holds. Her honor and culture of her native people are very important to her, Nightingale never sacrifices her ways for anything. Nightingale has taken up residence in this clan of the Starwood Strand but usually isn't within its boundaries. It's a place to rest between missions and a place to feel like home. She does visit her homeland, but such travel is very rare. With her way of life, Nightingale prefers leather clothing along with light Elven-Made armor. The armor is light-weight for her form but also very efficient against blows. It is expertly crafted and has protected her many times throughout her life and her missions. Nightingale's gauntlets and helmet are made of a special type of silver only known to the Moon Elves, it is stronger and more resilient than any other metal or material found on Sornieth. The Elves call it Moonstone Silver, any lines engraved in the silver glow a soft blue in the light of the moon. This type of silver is very rare and prized by the Moon Elves, only the most experienced blacksmiths know how to properly shape it and form it. Moon Elves don't craft much, but when they do it's for good reason and of good quality. Since Moonstone Silver has the ability to glow in the dark when cut below the surface, it is one of the only metals Moon Elves care to use. Her broadsword is a different story altogether, it is the most prized possession to Nightingale and she always keeps it with her. The blade is made of the same silver as her gauntlets and helmet with the scabbard and hilt having inlays. Engraved on the blade of the weapon is a design of Elven Filigree that glows in the moonlight. On the scabbard and hilt lie small blue stones, but only she and the guild know of their enchantment. They are enchanted to the sword and scabbard to never break, chip, or dull. This is the sacred weapon of any Paladin of The Moon. Despite her training and lifestyle, Nightingale is kind and not completely stone-hearted. She only really kills if it is entirely necessary. She is kind to those that she knows but is silent and cold to strangers, although she does watch everyone. Trust no one.
