arwen grew up in a very small clan, so she quickly learned to be resourceful, using the materials around her and hard work to make a living. when she first came to darkwood, the size of the clan was somewhat overwhelming- she barely spoke to anyone for the first few weeks, holing herself up in her shop and producing candles to sell. she found her feet eventually, as business grew, and currently has a small but close group of friends, including her mate, almond.

she’s proud of her work, and constantly looking to improve- she likes to stroll through the markets early in the morning, searching for different colour waxes and oils to scent them with. she has a keen eye for detail, and is somewhat of a perfectionist- quitting just isn’t in her vocabulary.

arwen can seem rather aloof at first, as she’s reluctant to share details about herself and her personal life until she really gets to know someone. she takes a while to warm up to newcomers, and it’s difficult to earn her trust. she’s naturally quite a suspicious dragon, and is very protective of her circle, and the business she’s worked so hard to build up. as a friend, she’s definitely the ‘mom friend’- making sure everyone else is happy and comfortable before she relaxes herself.
