In the first season, upon the eve of her hatch-day, her parents declared their forever extending joy to be welcoming their new child. The day came and passed, and before too long she found herself in the care of those that appeared different to her. Her parents were distant, but as a mere hatchling, she knew no different. Was this normal? How would she ever have known?
In the second season, after countless weeks had passed by, she found herself to be curious of the world around her. Time passed around her, leaving only her alone, watching the world go by, while she remained, trapped and unchanging in an ever-evolving world. Was this punishment for having been brushed aside? Was this a sign of rejection?
In the third season, after many months had passed, she left and made her own way into the world. That world that moved at a speed she could not comprehend, and suddenly it was all within her grasp. The possibilities were endless, and as she learned, the sky was no limit at all. While the solitude grated at her, and wore down her long-frozen heart, she relished in the feel of true freedom. Had this been her answer all along? Would she ever need to speak to another soul again?
In the fourth season, after several years had passed, she found herself surrounded by friends, folk she'd grown to see as a family. Long ago, she'd decided that companionship and bonds were not for the likes of her, and yet, with the company of those around her, she'd found a semblance of peace. Differences respected, and stories acknowledged. There was no punishment necessary, no need for unending solitude. The world had slowed down, now, to a pass where she could breathe. No longer did she have to carry her burdens alone, but instead, she could freely share them. At last, her answers had been found.
