As a hatching Neko came from the Ice Flight he was put for auction, his price was considerably low at around 2500 treasure. Pyro a dragon from the lightning flight was given his own lair by StormCatcher and was looking for warriors to join instead he found himself near the hatching area that’s were he saw Neko just as he was put up for auction without thinking Pyro took him he knew with such a low price a lair could easily take him and raise him for exalt for their own flight. Pyro used up all his treasure on Neko and Rouge (Another hatching he couldn’t help but taking) And was left With a almost defenseless Lair and hatching to raise, at first Neko didn’t understand why being exalted was not a fun experience and was taught it was a proud sentence to have but soon started to appreciate the freedom he was given. Neko and Rouge grew up like siblings he never really knew his blood family like most auctioned hatching so Pyro and Rouge was his new family, his experience with pyro influenced him to want to save other hatching he never did anything with that until while on a mission with Mistral he encountered a Kidnapping as he tried to save the hatching he failed and it left an impression on Neko and he looked into it and found golden looking hatching were stolen frequently for their beauty, he brought the idea of making a safe haven for stole golden hatchings and Pyro agreed, he now devotes his time to find these hatchings
