Aiutraiodhdhrer has never been much for socializing. For as long as he can remember, as he has crossed and recrossed the wide world, Aiutraiodhdhrer has known few friendly faces. Wherever he has gone, he has met only ruin, ruins of cities or empires that thought they were eternal, ruins of homes or villages wiped from history or memory. Nowhere is that reality truer to Aiutraiodhdhrer than in the Scarred Wasteland, where one can wander for years without seeing another face. It reminded him of home in a way, of a distant desert of sand and lightning, of bitter, violent storms. But, Aiutraiodhdhrer didn't want home, he wanted pain, his own pain. Aiutraiodhdhrer is a powerful lightning dragon, one whose presence brings storms. A fouled heart at his core, and enough power to bring the wickedness to reality has given Aiutraiodhdhrer his lot in life. As storms approach, weary travelers watch the ground. When he approaches, weary travelers watch the sky. Many of the ruins Aiutraiodhdhrer finds are his own doing. He passed too close, or he was vulnerable and sought a soul for companionship however brief. That is why Aiutraiodhdhrer is a special war power, a dragon that can change the tides of a war all on their own. The previous Great Khan (Nero) came to Aiutraiodhdhrer one night, storms raging, blistering the ground with violent strikes of lightning, whipping wind peeling scales from even Ridgebacks. But, the Great Khan braved the storms and came to Aiutraiodhdhrer with a request. Should the Legion fall to war, would Aiutraiodhdhrer be there to assist the Great Khan? Would Aiutraiodhdhrer be a hero? Aiutraiodhdhrer thought long and hard through the night's wicked, howling gales, and the Great Khan weathered that time with him. In the morning, as the sun burned through even Aiutraiodhdhrer's storm clouds, he had an answer for the Great Khan. Aiutraiodhdhrer would come to the Great Khan in their eleventh hour. The Great Khan smiled and bid Aiutraiodhdhrer farewell and disappeared into the storm once more, leaving Aiutraiodhdhrer alone once more. And Aiutraiodhdhrer's heart ached. One day... | xx |
