The mischievous hatchling, Spine has quite an interesting upbringing.
Nobody knows for sure where Spine came from, how an Arcane dragon hatchling was found in the EverBloom Gardens.
There are many theories among the clan, but best not to dwell on it.

Hitomi found him on a hunt, him being only a couple of days old, and had decided to raise him as her own son. If only she knew what a handful he would end up being.

As a hatchling, Spine would always get into trouble with other dragons, sneaking out from the shadows to steal other's food, teasing others, this continued on until, one day, after realizing he will never learn with just words alone, Hitomi issued one of the worst punishments a mother could ever give to her child, banishment. Not permanently of course, but long enough for the loneliness to really sink deep into your bones.
Suffering, alone.

After returning to his clan, he would start his long journey of recovering severed trust. It was not a quick one, nor was it easy, but it had to be done.
This is where other dragons started to take notice of his extraordinary talents. Being raised by one of the greatest huntresses and years of sulking in the shadows created an extraordinary dragon capable of creeping without a trace of ever being there.



The clan grew and grew, and with that came more dragons needing to care for the next generations. Thinking of it as an amazing opportunity to gain even more trust within the clan, decided to volunteer himself.
He quickly soared up the ranks, becoming Monarch of the Nesting Grounds, a rank given to those who show a remarkable ability to care and raise hatchlings.
