Izzy is a learned glassblower. She grew up in a Fire clan, and learned how to manipulate glass and metals with a forge. She is nearly immune to the heat, thanks to her Arcane powers. That's the other thing she learned: She could bend things that don't melt easily - like stone, wood or bone - with her Arcane powers. Izzy became known all around Sornieth, and got a lot of job offers. She started in Wind, creating beautiful chimes of glass that became soft on command, so the owner could add more trinkets over time. In Arcane, she forged fine lenses and mirrors for telescopes. Izzy was one of the few smithes who could create linses that didn't have colored borders. She wrote a paper on optics there. In Earth, she made the most beautifull amalgams of stone and glass, creating lairs, greenhouses and huts that looked otherworldly. In Nature, she created windows that fit perfectly into branches and hollows without harming the trees. In Shadow, she made mirrors that fit perfectly into the branches, hiding lairs from prying eyes. In Light, she made roofs for Libraries and other important buildings, special roof that created cool shade in the summer, but let the light in during the Winter. She started writing an essay on "thaumic energy and its effect on metals", but was rudely interrupted. By the Emperor, to be exact. - Glassblower - Fire as secondary element - Uses thaumic energy to reshape metal when it's hot, can even shape things that aren't hot that way - Terrifying on a battlefield, only mage from Ruby's former clan - Stood up against the Emperor and didn't get killed - No-nonsense attitude Hi!
