S T O R Y

Following a dispute with her Innamorato, Eurydice had fled into the woods. When Orpheus caught up to her, he found her motionless body. Much like how the Plague had poisoned its relationship with Nature in this very place, Orpheus had poisoned his relationship with Eurydice, causing her to step on a poisonous snake. The grief-stricken Innamorato had carried her down into the underworld that is the underground warren beneath the Dusk Sanctum forest. Unable to forgive himself, he decided to leave this place, not looking back even once, and live out the rest of his days somewhere far away. Unbeknownst to him, however, the presumed dead Eurydice barely survived, waking up to find a harp next to her, the same one Orpheus had played for her many a time. To this day, she futilely awaits his return.
