______ Born to a warrior father and sorcerer mother, it is only natural that Kalisto become a skilled battlemage. It's unusual for a dragon of the Plague Flight to practice any skill that does not better their chances of survival - Kalisto is no different. Her powerful magic uses the natural forces of plague to sicken her opponents, often in the form of a thick, noxious cloud that plants spores in their exposed mucous membranes.

______ Playing with the arcane has its consequences. As an inexperienced dragonet, Kalisto pushed the boundaries of safety, and came away with only minor injuries -- and feathers that glow gold with the flow of magic. While this may seem like a harmless aesthetic feature, it gives away her powers to enemy dragons (or beasts) that now know to prepare for attack. For a Plague dragon, a tell like this is worse than any fleshwound.

______ While she does practice the arcane arts, Kalisto feels a particular closeness for the neighboring realm of the Shadowbinder. She, like the dragons of the Shadow flight, has a fondness for games, and finds the black forests a beautiful and secluded place to practice her skills. All the better if she's attacked for intruding... what better way to see if she's learned anything new?
