He came out of the fog one day, an enigma with bright wings of crystal, fractured and spiraling, drawing the eyes like sea glass scattered on the beach, stunning in the early morning light. A dangerous but enchanting being, catching the gaze of every living creature that dared to be in his presence. Awash in the golden dawn, he was a sight for sore eyes, the fog melting away from him and sunlight bouncing over his glassy scales. Beautiful and strange, an exotic creature of dark, swirling colors and ocean deep blue eyes.

He was unlike anything that had ever graced the icy dens of the Void Clan, the first and last of his kind to pass through their ranks. He had even struck Void himself speechless, with his lilting accent and musical voice, his masterful grace and soft, gentle words.

His name was Hallucination, for all that was all he was. A glamour, a fleeting spirit with nimble feet and warm eyes. He was a memory, long forgotten and long abandoned. Perhaps, somewhere, his bones laid in wait, loyally waiting for their soul to come home, so that they too could finally rest at the bottom of the ocean.

For now, Hallucination lives among the Void Clan, a flittering, shattered ghost of a dragon that left jaws on the floor, minds reeling and hearts breaking.
