Staub is a historian who comes off as apathetic but is actually quite passionate about her job. Well, except for now. It's been months and besides some kinda-neat earthenware they've found nothing. And if that was all, then she really wouldn't mind! She can wait, really. But Nixie has been nagging her all day and Solle has been dropping and breaking everything Staub needs to examine and she's just. Done with everything. Only the promise of a paycheck is keeping her here, and even then the temptation to just bail is getting stronger every day.

And really, who does Melia think he's fooling? Nobody believes he actually likes being here, Staub can see that clear as day.
