Zev and Anala were born to the same clan in the Reedcleft Ascent. Though this clan is lost to the test of time, their love for each other has only grown throughout the years. Together, they vowed that they would create a clan as strong as their love for one another that would last for generations. They trained together for months until they decided their strength was enough to safely move across Sornieth. They settled in the Mirrorlight Promenade for a few years before Zev decided a change was needed. She felt a calling to the Sea of a Thousand Currents, but she knew not of its origin. Being underwater, however, would certainly be a drastic change of scenery. She was excited for such a change, though a part of her knew her partner would have reservations. And reservations Anala had.

"We're not even water dragons!" Anala's wings beat a few times as she tried to catch up with her partner, "How do you plan on having us breathe!?" Zev hadn't thought that far yet, but she had faith that the Tidelord would have every dragons' safety in mind. Her feet stomped along the grassy earth as she charged towards the cliff's edge. "Just trust me!" With that, she unfurled her wings and took a leap of faith into the depths below. The water rushed around her and acted much like a blanket. It coated every inch of her body as she sunk towards the depths. She did not feel fear or panic; in fact, she felt calm. At ease. At home, even. Then she took a breath, and exhaled a sigh of relief. She knew the magic of the tides was keeping her alive, and that fact calmed her further. She looked behind her and noticed her partner a bit of the ways behind her. A small chuckle escaped her maw as she waded through the depths. |
