Biography

Once a year on the anniversary of the day they reunited, Thistle and Thorn nest together and bring new life into the world. These dragons - being the children of two Progenitors - have a heightened bond than the average dragon to the particular deity of the Progenitors as well as the one who's territory they were born in. S07Sdb6.gif Carmeli is a tough soul who found their calling in the busy shipyards on the coast of the Shifting Expanse. From hatchlinghood they had been fascinated by the ships that passed through the Seoladair Lock to the in-land ports of the Shifting Expanse and spent much of their time plotting potential journeys on an old map of the realm. Thistle and Thorn - both veterans of their own word adventures - encouraged the young dragon's wanderlust and determined nature with pointers also given to Carmeli's older brother, Miracle. "Go forth and live in the moment, child. Live as you learn, learn as you live life."
Once Carmeli grew old enough to leave the Clan they went directly to seek work at the closest port to work their way up to their ultimate dream. The day finally arrived when one keen-eyed sailor saw the Pearlcatcher and employed him to his cargo ship. At last, Carmeli was on his way to living the dream of a traveller. This wasn't meant to be smooth sailing into the future, though, as the ship fought tooth-and-claw with a severe thunderstorm and lost the battle. Carmeli remembered conjuring a bright pink flash he'd never done before then...darkness. arcanef1.png
