Biography

Accountant ♦ Straight ♦ She/Her Turns out, it’s really hard to get a job if you end up stealing or stockpiling what you’re supposed to keep track of... Stardust was hatched in a Nature community that was very minimalistic and frugal. Stardust wasn’t even called stardust when she hatched! Instead, she was called Violet. Sure, it wasn’t a bad name, but ‘Violet’ chafed under her community’s rules. She wanted gems, treasure, sparkles galore, not the half of a horribly melted coin she was given after begging to her parents. Once she was old enough to leave the community, she ran for it, despite her parents trying to keep her in the community. It took years for Stardust to get a job relating to treasure, as most dragons preferred to keep track of their own treasure instead of letting others take care of it, but she eventually got a job keeping track of a small trading group’s treasure. She first started to call herself ‘Stardust’ around this time, and was happy to join a new, diverse community with less expectations. A week later, all the gold and gems were gone and found later in a big pile, which Stardust was sleeping on. She was fired immediately, but that didn’t deter her. She kept trying to get jobs, but after the incident, no one else wanted to risk it. So she moved west. She blundered her way though the Plague fields, leaving as soon as possible, before stumbling into the Wind domain. Now in a place where no one knew her, she tried to get another job, this time with a very small, new clan. When the leader, a purple fae, asked her where she wanted her room to be, Stardust immediately asked to be situated near the treasury. Both the fae and the tundra agreed, as they had very little treasure in there, so there was no risk. It turned out, she was an excellent guard and accountant, even if she did occasionally nest in the piles of trinkets instead of her own bed. When she met Diamond, she fell head over heels for the new Spiral. She tried to flirt with him, but he was much more interested in other things than her. Eventually, he noticed her, but by the time she was with egg, he was already long gone to join the community of Flight Representatives. She raised her hatchlings alone and soon, they left home. That didn’t stop her from continuing to live her life. As the clan’s riches grew, so did her happiness. She was content and was where she was meant to be. She reconnected with Diamond, and even though it was uncommon for representatives to get married, they began to discuss it, along with another clutch of eggs. |
