O C C U P A T I O N - Fishbeast Researcher R E L A T I O N S H I P S - Bitestrith - Though smiled favorably upon by her clan, Unae has always felt a sense of disconnect from his mother, the clan's leader. He's sure that she didn't necessarily mean to be an absent mother, but duty called her name just as much as he did hers as a hatchling, and she was much more inclined to answer one over the other. Baltic- One of Unae's homeclan's oldest members of the guard, Baltic found himself responsible for the bulk of his children's care after his emotional affair with Bitestrith. He was quite strict to grow up with, but genuinely compassionate. WinterSky - Unae met WinterSky while staying briefly with her clan in the Windswept Plateau. She was intrigued by his research and when he offered to take her along as an assistant, she eagerly agreed. Lunari & Midnight - A husband and wife who became their friends after telling them our travels and the showed great levels of hospitality towards us. Wylde - A librarian, author, and researcher that Unae befriended. Wyvernhail and Lewis - Two other Faes with a passion for research. Runnmust&Tweedle: mates that showed Unae around and became fast friends with him Nymstryx became fast friends with Unae. (Feel free to add dragons from your clan here!) F A M I L I A R - None. Uh-oh, looks like this deep-sea fae wandered a little too far from their home lair (452562, Hyzenthlaay), and now they’re off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, we'd really appreciate it if you could just return them to their original home via the Crossroads, the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread here, or this rest hub, if you don’t want another traveler in return from the thread. You can also adopt them permanently if you don’t want them leaving your lair - just contact hyzenthlaay and let her know (it’s good for her notes)! Many people have worked very hard on this traveling dragon, and exalting them would be an absolute shame. Please don’t do it. Unae has been fascinated by the secrets of the deep-sea ever since his father would lull him to sleep with stories of the creatures rumored to dwell below. Once stationed there for mercenary work, Unae's father knew a great deal of local legend surrounding the waterways, and Unae promised that he would one day seek out their veracity for himself. He now travels Sornieth in search of mystical sea creatures, particularly ones that lurk deep below the surface where the light cannot reach them and collects his notes in a series of stolen notebooks. Oh what a fantastic trip this has been! My first stay has been with a water clan. They live in a cave network under the Fishspine reef. It stretches down so far that I have a perfect entry point deep in the Leviathan Trench. I have discovered some odd jellyfish down there. I didn't think their kind could exist under such immense pressure, but I guess everything is possible in the domain of the Tidelord. On a different day I was almost eaten by a Highfin Sea Serpent. The thing was so large it could have easily swallowed me whole. Thankfully one of Night Warriors, Ngaire, was able to fight off the Serpent while I escaped. I also got to meet the Leviathan brothers, Vodyan and Ezos. They were both very creepy (it's like they never blinked and it felt like their eyes were boring holes into my soul), but they let me study them and even take samples! To study the offspring of these legendary creatures was a boon! Vodyan also had tamed a Highfin Sea Serpent, so I was able to study the creature up close (I even stuck my head in his mouth to get a closer look at his teeth) without getting eaten; it was crazy exciting! I've spent weeks here, maybe even months as I've lost track of time. I keep discovering so many new and cool species and creatures I've already gone through two books. I'm going to need to go buy more though, so I suppose it's time to go. l hope I find another clan so I can study other parts of the sea. I'm sad to leave here but I must continue my research!

I offered to take her with me as a research assistant., and she eagerly agreed. Her refusal to leave her pearl behind will pose a hindrance to swimming though. It appears that my assistant and I have made a wrong turn somewhere as we have found ourselves at the Molten Scar which is as far away from water as one can be. Thankfully the resident clans at the Molten Scar were welcoming enough to give us directions to set us on the right path back towards water while letting us stay for the night. I am disappointed that my research will be put on hold until we leave the Molten Scar but my assistant has done her best to cheer me up.

We told her all about our travels and what we saw there. And before we knew it, it was getting pretty late. We thanked them for the hospitality and said goodbye. We headed out towards the sea. We took samples there and asked around about the sea. No one seems to know what lurks here. I thought this was odd since it’s the sea. Also by this time my assistant completely forgot about the observatory. We decided that we should find a clan that knows more about the sea.

She seemed excited to learn more about ocean creatures, and even taught me a few things I didn't know. She also took me on a trip to the Starfall Isles, where we met two other Faes - cousins known as Wyvernhail and Lewis. We spent the rest of the day researching ocean creatures - I eventually fell asleep, and Wylde decided to carry me back to Crow Callers, taking me to the Traveller's Lodge.
