PrinceOfSoup's Clan - July 3, 2020-

Day One
I arrived at this Clan earlier this morning. I was essentially forced out of my own; something about me needing to "get out more" and to "stop holing myself up in the forest." Tch. How typical of them to say that, when they all seem to be travelling all the time. I suppose it was inevitable that I would have to visit another Clan at some point. At the very least, this Clan seems... interesting? The Clan leader, a coatl who goes by the name of Frusi, seems nice enough, if not a bit odd. I swear, if I didn't know any better, I'd almost think he was trying to flirt with me! What a strange fellow. He showed me around the Clan, and introduced me to a few of the residents. I can't say I paid much attention to who I met, as I was beginning to feel drained from all this socializing. The only dragon I remember is a coffee-addicted Guardian named Hickory. She was rather friendly, and extremely hyper. She runs a coffee shop not too far from where I am currently staying. Perhaps I should stop by sometime; I've heard from multiple residents that it's definitely worth a visit.

Day Two
I spent the day wandering about the town. I know that if I return to my Clan without spending some time outside, then they'd send me right back out. I found myself hovering outside some sort of workshop, trying to peer inside to see what was being worked on. I finally caught a glimpse of the project; it was some sort of robotic creature made of a black metal. It had wings, and appeared almost animal-like, but it was like no animal I had ever seen. The Pearlcatcher working on it noticed my interest and invited me over for a chat. He went by the name Sylvester, and he was an engineer of sorts. He used a combination of robotics and arcane energy to power his creations. He pulled on a bulky gauntlet and hit a switch on the robot. Blinding red bolts of lightning sprang out of the robot, connecting with the gauntlet in no time at all. The robot instantly came to life, gears whirring and wings flapping to hover in the room. I watched, fascinated, as it flew through a makeshift obstacle course that Sylvester had put together to test its mobility. It came to a stop at the end, landed on the edge of the desk, and powered off when Sylvester took off the gauntlet. He wrote something down on a notepad: 3.2 seconds. The robot had flown through the course that fast, without hitting anything? How insane! Sylvester explained that the robot responded to the thoughts of the user, those very thoughts being transmitted through the magical energy connecting the gauntlet to the robot. I listened to him ramble on and on about the robot and various other creations of his. It's obvious that he's very passionate about what he does, and that's something I can respect. I must admit, I had a enjoyable time talking with him. I'll have to visit with him again sometime before my stay is over.
