Angel Dust
OC from - A World of their Own (My own story) "Oh my goodness, hi there! The name's Angel Dust!...um...yes, that's my real name. Um...no, I'm not a guy. Or a...spider demon." Angel Dust was conveniently found on the sandy shores of the Tsunami Flats along with Ikaroa, scouting the dunes for washed up treasures and potential hazards to the hulls of any sea-bound ships coming to dock. The pair welcomed the crew with a friendly enough attitude, but it was quick to see how polar opposite the gaoler's sporadic, off the wall behavior was as opposed to the pearlcatcher's more calm, collected nature. They complimented each other perfectly!...But of course that wasn't the only reason Voleta took interest in the pair to begin with. Angel was plenty more than she talked, saying she was the chieftain of two clans brought together by their love of the sea and the sky...as well as the power of shapeshifting. Specifically from fleshy, Beastclan-like forms to graceful dragons, with the help of a special charm given to the user. In Angel's case, it was a brilliantly jeweled hairpin she wore proudly in her mane. But only through much trial and hardship was she granted this power, which included the mended relationship of two gods and the saving of their once monstrous, rampaging daughter...which was Ikaroa, to be precise. Now...all of this on it's own would probably only sound like another tall tale, but paired with Ikaroa's stunningly mystic looks and plentiful amounts of stories make it all sound like more than coincidence. Even better than that: A supposed chieftain with a PLENTIFUL background in fighting could allow the ship to venture further out to more dangerous locations across the map! So for the time being the pair travel with the crew, with the acceptation of disappearing back to the Tsunami Flats and even the rumored Great Divide every now and then. A little time to themselves is always nice, in both of their opinions. |
