A representative of the feminine and social aspects of Light, Rishi is a well-mannered creature, likely to be seen out and about. Her and her brother Rhiol, while ostensibly part of the Temple, live amongst the Ebonhides for the most part, where they can share in the right foods, drink, games and manners. They do not especially appreciate The Rock, not even the Light dragons who live there. On paper, the realm of Earth seemed ideal to the twins, especially the Belows. Cairnstone Rest is a fabulously wealthy area of Dragonhome, well below ground and full of resources to make living there both theoretically pleasurable and profitable. Arriving, however, Rishi and Rhiol discovered dragons not living in the overpowering grandeur, on the riches beneath their claws, but simply and dully. More interested in honoring the gods and “living as dragons ought” than any idea of creating wealth. Of course, they were Northern dragons, as North as one could reach in all Sornieth, and the two of them were of the East. The stories Bogart told of Light Flight were distasteful, to put it mildly. Nobody was supposed to live in the Hewn City, that was entirely the point! One avoided the place, not thrust oneself into its worst depths! With that in mind, they avoided Bogart and his precious sons as much as they could. The Ebonhide clan, however. Rhiol knew BloodMixer from their schooling, as did Rishi know TellMeInTheBlood. Sisters forever, just as Rhiol and BloodMixer were always brothers. They have no desire for greater power, but they are happy to bring society back with them from their frequent trips ‘home’. |
