Nobody really knows much about Twist. She just showed up one day, without explanation, as a hatchling. Even Styx doesn't know how, or why- she let her in. Styx doesn't even remember permitting such an odd Wildclaw into the clan in the first place, but nobody can get her to leave.
Upon the arrival of Twist, Joiya, the skeptical nocturne messenger, wanted to do some research. Twist was distant as a hatchling, and couldn't make any friends- Complaints alleged that she was "too strange" to befriend. Not only was the nocturne puzzled by these claims (Dragonets are already weird enough), but she was concerned about the wellbeing of the clan with the presence of an- Unusual visitor. Joiya dug through old records and lineage records to find Twist's heritage- Only to come up empty handed.

As Twist grew older, she only became more eccentric, strange, and witty. She would sometimes stop in the middle of a sentence, and quietly ramble in what seemed like a foreign language. Other times, she would become panicked for no apparent reason, riling up dragons weary of any danger. Eventually, however, Twist found her forté- Alchemy. Or, something of the sort. She dove into making strange potions with no apparent purpose, and wrote formulas on new alchemical breakthroughs. Twist would go on to sell her vials and concoctions to other clans- which became very popular, much to Joiya's perplexment. After her travels, Twist would return with sacks of treasure- However, she didn't seem to do anything with it.

One day, a trader by the name of Nymstryx arrived in the clan to sell wares. Upon recognizing the famous potion seller, he inquired about the treasures. He wasn't met with much of a response, except her reluctant inquiry about what he had for sales. The somewhat flustered Nymstryx pulled out what he had brought- Apparel, battle items, and, most notably, a small collection of vials with alchemical purposes. Twist showed intrest in those particular goods, and scanned through them until she froze. She had stumbled upon the potent Serthis Poision, something that held an unknown connection to her. Nymstryx, sensing her negative reaction, quickly shoved the vial aside and tried to draw her attention to something else, with no avail.
