Biography

A kangaroo who was captured by Dr. Neo Cortex and subjected to the Evolvo-Ray and Vortex. He's one of Cortex's earliest creations, and ultimately a disaster. He emerged from the Vortex a giggling maniac and far more dangerous than before. The kangaroo's fur had turned blue, he'd become highly impulsive and unpredictable, and had gained razor sharp teeth and claws.

It's not uncommon to find Ripper Roo near explosives - TNT and nitro crates in particular. Ripper Roo has a ridiculously high pain threshold, capable of taking hits from both TNT and nitro crates and acting like nothing had ever happened in the first place. He also seems to have some affinity with water, as he's usually found at waterfalls.

While not capable of speech (instead only laughing) Ripper Roo does possess intelligence. He's able to read, and writes books - including the well received Through the Eye of the Vortex.
