Autumn Dryad

William was designed by Project to be sold to clan leaders as a sort of perfect servant or housekeeper. He would be able to cook, clean, organize, and look after hatchlings. This is why his colors are simple, and his name is "ordinary". He was designed to blend into the background. Unfortunately, he was found to be unable to correctly perform these tasks. One scientist, however, still wanted to test the new outer shell that was designed on him. So, he was taken to a testing chamber. What happened next hurt. The most terrible pain he had ever felt or could imagine. Hot, dissolving acid was poured on his chest. William tries to call out, but they had paralyzed him. He tried to escape, somehow. Run. Get away! Away from this pain! Then, both a moment and an eternity later, it ended. William could move his eyes enough to see the corroded metal where his artificial fur had been. The first thing he heard was the screaming of scientists at the failure. Next thing he knew, he was being moved to a containment cell to await his destruction. Just as he he was giving up hope, a FL/GHT Rescue team broke in from the barred window high on the wall. William was barely conscious at the time, and didn't have the mental energy to question when the head of the team urgently whispered at him to come. His memories from that day are fuzzy, but when he reached the HQ of FL/GHT, he knew the feeling of safety. After he had recovered, he joined FL/GHT as an Intelligence Spy. He was designed to blend in after all. And while he may not be able to cook or clean, he's been quite proficient in the art of scoping out Project and their terrible plans. He wears his tunic to hide the marks the acid left on him. FL/GHT medics offered to replace the metal, but he keeps them as a reminder of what Project is capable of. Still, he would prefer to not show them, both because they draw attention to him on his spy missions, but also because the memories are very personal to him, adn he would prefer to not talk about that last day with Project. His familiar is also helpful by alerting him to Project scouts precious minutes before he himself could see them. After all Project put him through, William couldn't be more proud to be a part of the fight against them, no matter the danger.
