Biography

(This dragon has too much potential! Help!)
Such a little fae with such a long name. Soon she will grow into it, more than you expect.
Baby Matryoshka:

Matryoshka's mother controls dragons in the way a master puppeteer might. Really her father has become nothing more than a ventriloquist doll for her mother's words to flow from. Little Matryoshka understands this power and the need to possess it. After all she was hatched (or should she say made?) from her mother's love of controlling and influencing others. They were barely hatched, when she and her siblings were each dumped unceremoniously into separate lairs to "broaden her mother's influence".
But little Matryoshka is not content to only control others in the way her mother does. Sure there is an allure to subtly working behind the screen, moving pawns and puppets without anybody knowing, but this doesn't sound fulfilling enough. Matryoshka wants to control and fight others more literally. She wants blood on her claws and shouts of terror in her ears. She wants to be feared for her physical strength as well as her wicked cunning. So firstly, this little fae body must go! She is ready for whatever pain this might entail, all to become stronger and more fearsome. A nocturne sounds like the perfect breed of darkness to her, so that is what she will become.
The process of changing her physical form may have gone wrong, or perhaps right? Perhaps she should not have rushed to perform the magic on herself so soon after studying it. Perhaps she should have gotten a puppet to test it on. As it stands, she failed to transform into a nocturne, for it is only possible to perform a nocturne transformation during two weeks of the year - a fortnight of forsaken nocturnes.
Instead she was cursed - obsessed with changing her physical form, she ended up warping her insides instead. This twist of her inner self and mind is sometimes visible as far too many eyes pealing her skin open and black bleeding from these eyesores. But she is not some Argus for her mother's purposes. No, these eyes and voices serve as her new puppets and they promise that her transformation is not yet done. Come the next nocturne fortnight, she will change into something truly monstrous
