Umnia was born to Nyoka and Ulloriaq along with two sisters. Ulloriaq never seemed to be comfortable raising children so she and her sisters were raised by her father Nyoka. Because her father was the Aerial / Flight teacher she became very skilled in the air. She is nimble and serves as the clan's primary fisher. Her sisters left when they were fully grown for another clan, never quite becoming as close to Nyoka and the clan as she was. They eventually ended up leaving their new clan to serve the Lightweaver. Umnia doesn't hold anything against her mother, understanding how she was raised. Umnia has a hard time making friends and seems to bond more easily with the children of the clan, especially those who came to the clan without their parents.
