Biography
You stand on top of a plateau, lost in endless fields of golden wheat that feels like silk on your skin. Above, the cloudless sky blazes blue, but you feel no heat from the sun.
You are outside of time and knowledge fills you like a memory.
Clan Lore
The Village
- It's called a village, but it's a small city. The architecture is composed of lairs bored out of the mountain, wrapping itself in a circle around the wide field of white sand that contains the tombs.
-Massive white towers stand out against the blackness of the mountain stone, which stand a magical pillars against invaders and the Tombs. They've always been there, drawing their energy from a source that doesn't quite seem... earthly.
-Many colored lights are strung around the lairs entrances.
- Most of the dragons in the village have dedicated themselves to keeping the Tombs sealed. Of course, there are dragons that hunt and send messages outside the village, but they do their best to remain hidden so they don't draw attention to their village. The last thing they need is for another power hungry idiot to take an obsession with the tombs or towers.
Oracles and Spirits
- The entities here are under contract by the mages of the village. They are secretive, chosing who they appear to, but not much is known about them.
The Desert
The sands will pull you under. Avoid at all costs.
The Tombs
- Under miles of soil and debris from an era long passed, members of an ancient clan of royalty lay restless, waiting for someone to free them. Black, inky shadows occasionally eke up to the surface, spreading across the ground like flooding water until it's wiped away by the mages.
- The Tombs consist of winding tunnels that all delve deep into the earth, dotted with crumbling rooms that host a single creature who will twist their realm to their own amusement; it could be a forest to one visitor, a field of grass to another, but there's always something off. Flickering black spots of smoke pop in and out of your vision, and sometimes you see eyes.
- One tends to forget more and more the further down they go, but the little details of your existence aren't important here anyway. Not anymore.
- Don't play the hero, keep the Tombs closed. Don't listen to them, they're lying, your wife isn't down there, you idiot --
