He grew up to be much more serious than his care-free father, researching and perfecting new, scientific ways of efficiently growing large amounts of plants and herbs for the food supply. While Rin argues that they should stay true to their home Flight and use only what the Gladekeeper intended, Maokai continues to perfect his own practice. ▄
