Uh-oh, looks like this researcher wandered a little too far from his/her home lair (#435200 pokemoncha), and now s/he's off to see the world!  An imperial who has, as long as he remembers, been a traveller. An investigator. A researcher. Magic and forces associated with it have always fascinated him, and he wishes to learn more about them- always on the lookout for something new. From the fireflies that seem to be magically part of him an others with a similar gene, to the supernatural senses others seem to posses. Perhaps it should be no surprise that, when he found a travelling Witchborne, he would cling to her. First, as a mountain of knowledge- tales of the small family that have survived the great fires meant to eradicate them, words of magic he does not fully understand. Then, as a companion, having grown close to the skydancer, sharing his own history to her willingly, something he rarely did. Lastly, as a mate, when they realized they could hardly imagine a life without the other anymore. Dirge isn't very magically inclined himself, not like Crescent, but his knowledge helps a great deal in their travels, easily filling in the gaps of Crescent's own knowledge, and she in his.
