Azazel is an incredibly well-traveled, able, experienced fighter. He is known throughout the clan as belligerent, sinsister, and manipulative. He spent his youth rigorously training in the art of combative magic, mastering the darker, less moral side of the occupation. Now, as an adult, Azazel is a treasured member of the clan, because despite his menacing personality and appearance, he is extremely unique and talented.
Azazel is a teleporter. He was born as a prodigy, already exercising his abilities, occasionally disappearing into thin air and soon materializing a few feet away. Because he was born with this rare ability, the clan quickly traded for him. He was placed under the trustworthy care of Ragnarok and Jaehaerys. He was tutored in combative magic beside the beautiful Oala, creating a very close friendship between them. To this day, they often spar and teach each other techniques.
After years of honing his teleporting abilities, Azazel is now a fully realized mage, capable of feats much more impressive than the average fighter. He can teleport across the globe, though the further the distance, the more energy he drains. Azazel is most content materializing in and out of the air at a close to medium range, confusing his opponent or appearing behind or above them in order to gain an advantage. He is known to terrorize small communities of dragons or familiars, earning him the alias "Demon" among the commonfolk. Azazel takes this nickname with pride and often refers to himself by the nickname.
The Demon equips himself with discarded ridgeback spikes - sharpened, shined, and coated in black. Azazel uses these as handheld weapons instead of the usual teeth and claws, instead stabbing and slicing with the blades.
