Oh, my, I've never been so sorry as to be right...it's just that I think I may be talking with your lost one from the afterlife; now, tell me if this sounds like them...” A stunning display of immorality and cunningness may be Arsen's greater performance, over his daily schtick as a professional "psychic". While communicating with the dead is a respectable enough job in Sornieth, any true communicator will tell you how difficult their work is: finding the right spirit, coaxing them to speak to begin with, dealing with their potential wrath...yet mysteriously, Arsen's practices is devoid of such troubles. Spirits apparently want to talk to him so greatly, they'll make a whole show out of the ordeal - appearing to him in great flashes of white light, howling his name from the great beyond, demanding the proper conduction that only gold pieces can provide in order to properly channel their spirits into the world of the material. If you haven't pieced it together yet, Arsen is a fraud through and through. He preys on the grieving and curious alike, avoiding those whom would protect them - but not before making off with the contents of their pockets. His true talent lies not in magic (which in actuality, he is quite poor at) but in performance, sourcing stage tricks and easily-subdued magics to get his schpeal across. One can't deny the talent in such an act. If only he would use it for something better.
