Biography
Patron Deity
Hermes, goddess of travelers, thieves, trade, luck, and language, she's the cleverest minor deity that lives with the Clan.
She likes to prank Joikila the most, despite Nolight's constant counter-pranks. He can't prank to save his nonexistent soul, usually getting other dragons mixed up in their petty divine squabbles. Firefly and Nightflower try their best to do damage control with the mortal dragons, to mixed success.
They all all leave Swefenu out of the prank wars, because his idea of a "cool prank" is dosing the victim's food with a coma-inducing potion. They all learned their lesson after that unfortunate prank ended up putting Willow in a coma for a few days, until Swefenu could mix a cure. The Clan Leader rained fire and brimstone on the deities for that incident, after she awoke.
Hermes likes knowing all the secret passages and forbidden places, wherever she is. Since the Sanctuary is under her blessing, she has the most complete knowledge of its layout!

The Sanctuary
Located both on and in a seaside cliff, the Sanctuary is near the border between the Sunbeam Ruins and the Tangled Wood. The Mirrorlight Promenade is to the east, while an Emperor roams not too far south.
The ocean is the Clan's main source of income, as the roaming Emperor discourages land-based trading caravans. The Docks are on the lowest level of the Clan, and are more accessible to the local Maren population and the Nature ocean traders who only make the short sail between the Ruins and the Viridian Labyrinth. Open-ocean trading, fishing, and ecosystem care is mostly Coastal's job, but dragons lend her a talon whenever they feel like it.
The area surrounding the Sanctuary is dense forest. Somewhere in there, the Bolthole is hidden from all but a handful of dragonkind. The forest within the Clan's loose borders does bleed into the forest of the Tangled Wood, so some strange, non-Light-native creatures can be found with regularity.
