an utter chaotic dangerous idiot with soft hidden depth but ONLY for his boyfriend

reckless idiot but somehow always gets away with his stupid plans and it may or may not be his boyfriends fault

the captain/leader of an independent air shipping company basically. they have an air barge docked at the outpost, powered by fleetfoot's powerful magic, and he owns and runs the ship with him by his side. he captains the ship and is in charge of everything, basically the highest authority on the ship, while his first mate/quartermaster/navigator/bosun-boatswain/second-in-command Fleetfoot runs the ship and navigates. the two of them work as most of the crew but each season they take on hired crew.

its probably a cover for a smuggling company but theres not enough proof for that so the outpost lets them stay since they import a lot of goods and drag in hired work

how is he still alive??

somehow really intimidating despite the fact that he has like two (2) braincells and it shows but frankly that might be why

basically they act like they're professional and just live together for money reasons and simplicity but rumors and quiet jokes about it are not uncommon

chaotic and reckless and brave but he somehow gets away with a lot. too much. his wild ideas almost always work, in their own roundabout ways, and his lack of any sort of hesitance to do extremely dangerous and risky things is almost inspiring (and kind of terrifying). consequences don't exist
