Veins is a refugee from a neighboring Plague clan. After serving his clan for what he calls 'long enough' he came upon the Ossuary and made himself comfortable. He claims that it was his decision to leave his original clan, but with the way he made himself a nuisance until he had somehow wormed his way out of a succinct death and into acceptance by Scapula's clan, the other members have their own theories about his eviction.

His personality is grating and sly, and seemingly too confident for his own good. Occasionally, when he is in a particularly good mood, he comes off as straight-up annoying. And yet, he has somehow not only won himself a place in the clan, but was selected to serve as one of Scapula's mates. So, he must have some amount of sickening charm, whether or not anyone can really explain why.

One of Veins' only notable accomplishments is his long-enduring friendship with a dragon named Sawel, of what was once an allied Shadow clan. When said Shadow clan turned allegiance and finally fell into the Mother's embrace, it was rumored that Veins' friendship could have had a significant hand in it.
