Frostmoon
meaning: The name of the November full moon

Frostmoon has always felt like he was in his brothers shadow. Whilst Dante was outgoing, Frostmoon was always too shy. Dante was confident and strong, but Frostmoon lacked any confidence and always felt as though he was weak. That is, until he discovered books. The young banescales guardian, Deimos, had a large quantity of books of all kinds, and the moment Frostmoon discovered that collection, it became impossible to get him to leave.

Frostmoon felt as though he was a different person when he read books. He was a brave knight, a powerful wizard, a cunning rogue and so much more! Books became his escape and it didn't go unnoticed by the others. Dante made sure he told his brother how much he admired his vast knowledge and Deimos even gave the odd compliment here and there. His two little sisters Araceli and Azula also always went to him for a story, which pleased him greatly.

Over time he began to feel his confidence grow! His family was so supportive and recognised his talents, and for a while he started to settled, like he had found his place. Until he met Morrigan.

Morrigan was, in Frostmoon's opinion, the worst! He had appreciated her help to begin with, when she healed Deimos back to full health, and she had decided to stick around for a while. But she was so arrogant! She seemed like she knew everything, and Frostmoon felt as though he was obsolete again. Why would anyone need to ask him questions about the past, or ask him for a story, when she knew so much more and was so confident in her craft.

But Frostmoon was soon going to realise that nobody is perfect and having a limitless knowledge of everything was impossible. Morrigan's knowledge came from her experiences, but Frostmoon was book smart. When Araceli grew sick, Morrigan didn't know what to do. It was an illness she hadn't seen before and she didn't even know where to begin looking for answers. So she looked to the only dragon she knew could help her, Frostmoon. She explained the problem and that she needed help, and in her opinion he was the only other dragon smart or wise enough to help her. She knew he was talented and it shocked him that someone like Morrigan thought he was smart!

Between the two of them, they eventually were able to cure Araceli of her illness. Frostmoon finally felt his confidence growing again and knew that everyone had their own skills and talents, and that's ok. Also after spending so much time working with Morrigan, he decided, maybe she's not so bad after all.
