|Information:

Gerrick is contented in acting as Maelgwyn's personal guard. Where many would find it degrading being bossed around by an entitled youth, Gerrick finds amusement in his antics and is overall lax about the possessive titles the spiral often reguards him with.
Even if he started out only playing along with Maelgwyn's 'gallivanting' and heroic persona, he treats the youth's safety with a deadly seriousness these days. With how often he ends up getting himself in real danger, Gerrick feels like he can't leave the other dragon alone for very long and is always keeping his senses perked behind a deceitfully unguarded facade when 'adventuring' with him, ready to attack and defend at the drop of a hat.
He isn't one for prolonged conversation and is more often than not quiet, just observing through half lidded eyes. He is used to people wondering about him but rarely asking direct questions. Gerrick isn't a locked book however, for as little as he says he makes his words count and is very open about himself and his past.
His general disposition is unconcerned and relaxed, he is fine with following his charge and accomplishing little because of it, but he is by no means indolent. When given a task by The Council or when he is needed by Maelgwyn he sets out to complete it as soon as possible and is quick in his work.
His enigmatic personality makes it difficult for those around him to know whether an objective has left him worn out, and thus the whole of his capabilities are unknown. Even his mate, Coccyx, is unable to suss out his condition through his disciplined neutrality, so she just assumes he's injured or tired after every errand to err on the side of caution. However, his strength and skill with or without a sword is clear simply by the manner in which he carries himself.
His relationship with Coccyx is unconventional to many, it is rare that they share affectionate words or touches, though even then it is muted and never around others, and speak as if they are only distant friends. Their relationship is based in a mutual respect for each other's capabilities and the strengths they gained on the battlefield. He speaks of her with a subtle reverence, but it's as if they both dance around calling each other mates and are hard pressed to divulge anything about their deeper feelings for each other.
