Ruby Rose - or Ruby, for short - is the matriarch of Stars and Branches Sanctuary, she rules over it with her lover, Preemo. She grew up in the Shadow flight with a strict, incredibly superstitious family. She was taught in the ways of old folklore, myths, habits, and incantations. Ruby was fed a strict diet of books on the Deities, the creation of the world, and the various monsters and experiments that inhabit it. Over time, she learned to channel and work with this power (much to her clan's horror). It was this, combined with her love for a dragon from another flight that forced her to flee to the nature flight to start a new life for herself and her beloved.
She now lives with her mate, daughter, and son-in-law in the small home they've carved out for themselves in a land previously wrought by war.

"Preemo and Ruby lay together in the cool moss, pressing against each other for warmth and pointing at their favorite constellations all the while. The stars through the branches of the trees that littered their new home. The cool, damp air tasted like freedom and the warmth of holding her beloved close. Preemo Rose

He's her mate. They've bonded over a mutual love for magic and the arcane. The wide variety of plants and twisting labyrinth of the nature flight drew their interest, so they chose it as their home an place to conduct research. They aren't as outwardly lovey-dovey as most couples, preferring more to keep to themselves, that way the few moments they do share when not submerged in research are all the more special.

Phaedra

Her daughter. Ruby taught her everything she knows about magic. The two often argue and fight, as Phaedra went a different direction with her magic than her mother wanted for her. A tense silence often settles between the two, which stresses out the rest of the clan.

Izzco

Phaedra isn't sure how to feel about the gemstone obsessed nature dragon that barged into her daughter's life. Often she catches them whispering about migrating to the Earth flight when they think she isn't listening, but she's sure to put her foot down on the matter. Her daughter wouldn't be spirited away to the desert land under her watch. Often Izzco acts as the mediator in the many fights between Ruby and Phaedra.

Neo

In her eyes, Neo has proven himself to be a valuable asset to the clan, greatly improving their quality of life with his many inventions. Much like Ruby and Preemo, he uses the desolate Pox Consulate as a place to conduct his experiments and test out prototypes.

Spaceship

Spaceship - and what an odd name that is - is the largest dragon in the clan and mate to Neo. She guards the clan from outsiders and scavengers prowling the site of the failed armistice. Ruby feels grateful too - and slightly intimidated by - her.

Zesiro

Ruby does not trust the travelling bard who has taken up residence in their territory. He promised information in exchange for shelter as he researches the conflict that had occured between the Plague flight and the Nature flight. Something is odd about his demeanor, and it sets her teeth on edge.
